Reformation Room Visit

With great excitement, BICS pupils headed to The Reformation Room at Martyrs’ FPC on 26th May.  ‘Katherine Von Bora’ took us from the 95 Theses doors at the front of the building, upstairs to various sections representing parts of Martin Luther’s life.  There was much to see and do, such as trying various costumes and Luther’s ‘monastery’ bed, watching a video of Luther’s life, solving puzzles and getting hands on experience with a printing press.  Thanks to Alana and James, who did an excellent job so that alongside the fun the important Reformation truths were being taught to young minds.  Thanks also to Bryan for driving the bus.

April News

Pupils were surprised to see the growing progress of their plant when they came back from the Easter holidays.  Not all of their growing efforts did as well, but they have learned about the best growing conditions for seeds through the failures and successes!

Also pictured are some of the boys who were happy to get the chance to do some measuring in their Maths and Numeracy work recently as part of handling data.

Pupils have also been preparing singing and recitations for the Gospel Musical Evening on 1st April at Hamilton Road Community Hub, when they will be taking part along with some well known Gospel Singers.
